Colleen loves working with mothers, babies and their families. She is a mum of 3 boys and knows both the challenges and joys of parenting. She is a GP and board certified Lactation Consultant. Colleen is an accredited NDC practitioner (Neuroprotective Developmental Care - Possums Program), has completed "Sleep, Baby and You" training and Newborn Behavioural Observations Training.

Lisa is a GP and board certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with 20 years of clinical experience. She is a busy mum of 3 and is passionate about providing high quality, evidence based health care in a non judgemental, supportive manner. Lisa has a special interest in pregnancy and newborn care for both mothers and babies, general paediatrics and women’s health. Lisa has completed NDC training (Possums Program).

Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC or the Possums Program) is a paradigm shift in evidence-based early life care and aims to protect the rapidly developing infant brain, gut, immune and stress response settings during the first critical months of life, and supports parents’ psychological resilience during this challenging though rewarding time. Our training with NDC guides much of our practice at Newcastle Mums and Bubs.
